For those who are not familiar with EUDEC, EUDEC is short for European Democratic Education Conference. It is a new conference, inspired by the international IDEC, that seeks to promote democratic education in Europe. The first conference will take place in Leipzig, Germany, July 25 to August 3, and will comprise of an intensive conference of democratic schools and two days of public sessions, open to all interested persons.

I had intended on getting up to say something on our last meeting but didn`t come round to it. Thank you all, who prepared this fantastic inspiring conference, be it the Leipzig team, helpers whoever….I do feel, though that one great THANK YOU must go to the council, without you it wouldn`t have worked as well as it did. With the growing numbers of members I do wish very much that we remain a group of open- minded people and very soon include our Israelian friends and that we don`t waste too much time on formalities.
